Description: This is a beginner (unrated) chess tournament open to all students(K-12) in New Braunfels and nearby areas. This is a themed tournament where we will be starting from the Halloween Gambit position which you can learn about HERE. We will play on Sunday at 12 p.m. until finish. We will also be hosting a Halloween party featuring candy, balloon artists, and a downstairs to partake in while you wait for the next round. Registration online only, no registration on site. Registration ends at 8:00pm on Friday.

- K-1 grade
- 2nd-5th grade
- 6th-8th grade
- 9th-12th grade
Top 3 of each section wins a medal.
Winners of each section get one free entry to our rated scholastic Saturday tournament
