#ComalChess Endgame Tournament

Description: This is a USCF rated chess tournament open to all secondary students (6-12) in Comal ISD. We will play on Saturday at 9 a.m. until finish (usually around 3p.m).
LIMIT 150 PEOPLE FOR THIS EVENT.
Location: Canyon High School, 1510 IH 35 N. New Braunfels, TX 78130
Round times:
• 5 Rounds
• Rounds 1 starts at 9 AM
Time controls:
• All Rounds G/30;d5 (30 minutes for each player with a 5 second delay between turns)
Entry fee: $10 in advance. Registration closes at 8pm the night of May 5th.
Sections and Prizes:
(6th-8th)
- Trophies 1st-3rd place
- Medals for the top 10%
- 1st place team
(9th-12th)
- Trophies 1st-3rd place
- Medals for the top 10%
- 1st place team
- Scholarships for 1st-3rd place
**Any cancellations forfeit the entire registration fee.
